Releases Myriad can update

Myriad updates addons from their GitHub releases, from the Addons window. For yours to be found:

  1. contact.sources in fabric.mod.json is your repository: https://github.com/you/my-addon.
  2. Release with a tag v<version> (v1.2.0) and attach the jar.
  3. The jar is recognised by its name (the installed jar’s name with the new version) or by being the release’s only jar besides -sources and -javadoc.

Releasing from elsewhere: "custom": { "myriad": { "updates": "owner/repo" } } in fabric.mod.json. "updates": false turns updating off.

The template has a GitHub workflow that builds on every push and releases on a v* tag.

Your addon in the menu

  • name, description, authors and icon (assets/<mod id>/icon.png, square) show in the Addons window.
  • contact.homepage, sources and issues become links there.
  • Your categories’ windows are titled with your addon’s name.

Before you release

  • Bump the version, and add a CHANGELOG entry.
  • depends.myriad is the oldest Myriad you’ve tested with.
  • Private settings are protected.
  • The dev client’s selftest passes, and myriad.auditMixins finds nothing.
